Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintains kitchen and dining area in a safe and sanitary condition for self, residents and others
· Performs food service duties as required according to facility guidelines and the current standards of practice
· Responds to resident dietary requests in a positive and cooperative manner
· Assists residents by providing a restaurant-style atmosphere
· Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
· Food service experience preferred
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Must enjoy working with seniors
· Must pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiries
Physical Demands and Work Environment
· Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, crouch, grasp, handle, kneel, pull, push, stoop, squat, twist and transfer
· Frequently required to lift 50 pounds
· Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
· Frequently required to talk and hear
· The noise level in the work environment can be quite loud
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$17.00/hour
